Welcome to Invisible Injuries
“delivering emotional and personal well being”
Invisible Injuries was the concept of Mike Burke and Tony Crane, who are well established members of the Wirral community, who decided to help those that may be affected by negative life experiences or were suffering emotionally from specific events that have occurred in life.
The Charity is based in the town of Hoylake, located on the Wirral Peninsula in the North West of England. The focus of the Charity is to help anyone in the UK and indeed across the globe with programmes that are both innovative and ground breaking in their content and application.
After setting up the Charity Mike and Tony recognised that for people to get the most from life they should be given an opportunity to start from a position of personal happiness and emotional well being and so in June 2012 they connected to one of the lead trainers in the country to guide the Charity into the future.
To read more about how Invisible Injuries helps tackle the issues that are often associated with such circumstances, please see our About Us and Programmes pages. To date the Charity has already assisted numerous people on programmes establishing links with significant organisations who offer medical assistance for more serious conditions.
We offer programmes to all members of the public, some of which are funded by the Charity for those who cannot afford to pay whilst other participants are asked to make donations to cover the costs of the programmes. The programmes are led by coaches who have experienced the programme and have worked through their own problems including; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Alcohol or Drug Dependency and Anxiety Disorders. They work from an experiential perspective and create a safe, empathic coaching environment.
The Charity raises funds through both the public and private sectors, which includes: attendance at, and organisation of fundraising events; fundraising initiatives; grant applications and co-operation with a range of both local and national organisations.
